Our First Fall Party...

Well we had a get together over the weekend,it was perfect. It was a good combo of each of our friends and some family,perfect weather,delicious eats and treats,and alot of fun. The chili was a big hit i think and the apple dumplings that took way too long to make and way too many ingredients were also a success.I loved getting to visit with the people i hold dear to my heart,whom i don't see often enough:) We hope to make this an annual event,the kids had a blast and the adults enjoyed the relaxing entertaining evening!

I love this time of year,but who doesn't? Tonight we are gathering all last minute ingredients from the grocery and last minute decorations and getting ready for our little get together tomorrow.We decided to have some close friends and family over to carve pumpkins,eat chili,drink coffee,enjoy a nice little fire out back...you know,all the normal things people do this time of year. I am making my mom's chili recipe and also a buffalo chicken chili recipe that i found online one day.For dessert we are going to have homemade apple dumplings with caramel drizzle and pumpkin pie:) I'm excited to see everyone and to eat all the yumminess!
